Can Scentrovert scent boosters be used at 20°C?
Yes. Scentrovert Laundry® Extra Strong Scent Boosters are designed to work in a 20°C wash. They are added directly to the bottom of the drum before the clothes, rather than being placed in the detergent drawer or a separate laundry bag.
Step-by-step instructions
- Start with an empty drum. Add your preferred amount of Scentrovert beads directly to the bottom.
- Add the laundry. Place clothing, towels or bedding on top without overfilling the machine.
- Add detergent as normal. Scent booster adds fragrance and does not replace laundry detergent.
- Select the correct programme. Choose 20°C only when it is appropriate for the fabric and level of soiling.
- Dry promptly. Remove the load when the cycle finishes and follow the garment care labels.
How much should you add?
Fragrance strength is personal, so begin with a smaller amount and increase it over later washes if you want a stronger result. Load size, fabric type, drying method and storage can all change how noticeable a fragrance feels.
When might 20°C not be appropriate?
A cooler cycle is not automatically right for every load. Heavily soiled items, certain household linens or garments with specific hygiene requirements may need a different programme.
